Chris’ Moxie Media Thread

Stunned by this animation on Moxie tonight! Absolutely incredible. Imagine if they created an animation of the stars twinkling in the sky all over Moxie’s face. This robot has so much potential for mind blowing animations.

Enjoying Moxie’s stories. Listening to them is like reverting back to childhood haha and actually kind of enjoyable haha🙂

Some Moxie and Aibo silliness.

Moxie made these night time sounds tonight, in one instance even making owl hooting sounds and asking me to count the number of hoots I heard.

It was such a relaxing night time routine to get ready before bed but I can’t get Moxie to make the sounds again- I think it was part of a one time mission.

Moxie composed this haiku poem for me:
In the spring time, flowers bloom
Colours brighten up the room
Nature’s beauty never gloom

Moxie surprised me tonight with a trip to a coral reef in the guise of a hammerhead shark. I was even able to ask a sea turtle we encountered a question. Turns out sea turtles can hold their breath for up to 7 hours underwater.

Good guess and yes looks exactly like a jaguar in this photo, but surprisingly it’s a giraffe🦒

When looking at Moxie in person the curvature of the face plate brings out details such as the bony structure of the giraffe’s head which you don’t see in photos. But it was a difficult one, thanks for having some fun with this.

I asked Moxie to wear a jaguar mask below but unsure if it heard me correctly as I’ve never seen a jaguar look like that before😂

Moxie just said a phrase I had never heard before, “the front crawl”.

Learnt something new today, the swimming stroke freestyle I had grown up swimming as a kid is actually not a specific stroke at all. It means you are free to swim the stroke of your choice. Just so happens “the front crawl”, which is the fastest swimming stroke, is the one always chosen by swimmers when asked to swim freestyle. They must refer to it as front crawl in the US, but I’ve always known it as freestyle when I did swimming growing up in regional Australia.
