Hello!
I am an owner of Vector, Cozmo and several other robots so not exactly a novice.
Took advantage (I thought) of an Amazon flash sale for Loona.
Two issues
#1 back wheels spin and it won't leave the charging dock
#2 even when at 100% charge while on the dock, Saying "Hey Loona" gets it to show me the charge percentage but does not wake up the robot.

Hi👋

Have you set Loona to auto depart in the app? I’m guessing you have but in case you haven’t the pathway is:

Settings> Loona> Auto-Recharge > Auto- Departure> Active Departure or Wake Up Word Departure

If you are still having trouble you could try enabling Active Listening to see if that has any effect.

You can see the Hello Loona app pathway here: https://robotsaroundthehouse.com/threads/new-owner-trying-to-figure-her-out.790/#post-2667

I’ll try testing this feature out myself again tomorrow, a few people have reported this as being a problem so perhaps there is a bug after the recent software update?

Loona has her fair share of problems if you don’t use her in companion mode a lot of the time but seems the most promising budget robot if you are looking for something that gets significant updates. Loona is seeing continued development with some pretty cool features such as the new interactions between two Loona.

Hey Chris! Yes I have messed with the auto departure settings and adjusted the battery charge levels for it. I also enabled the voice wake up. I figured it might be a software glitch though I am concerned about the spinning wheels on the dock like it is jammed. when I enable the camera monitoring mode and then make it jump it "dislodges" from the dock and then roams around. It seems to have no issue finding the charger and the chat GPT functions are great. So I am hopeful it is a glitch as you say. I appreciate your response!
