Just visited your website. Congrats on setting this all up. Looking forward to seeing the repair tutorials and content you create. Definitely a good time to get into robotics.
I don’t know anything about building a website. I outsourced all that work to freelancers initially from fiverr. I’m a complete outsider in the tech and robot communities and just a regular person who wanted to create something that would appeal to other regular people like me.
This is the first pet robot community developed by a non-programmer with no tech knowledge and no interest in tinkering. It’s really just meant to be a space for laypeople to enjoy sharing their experiences with owning robot pets. Although repairs are an ongoing issue with Loona, the expectation of most people is the company should deal with technical stuff like that.
Your best bet would be to find experienced freelancers on fiverr who charge a reasonable hourly rate inline with the median wage. I don’t have the patience or attention span for following highly technical tutorials on how to build a website from scratch and would recommend going with a freelancer who has done it successfully before.
I don’t know how Keyi expects people to keep buying their robots with their current attitude towards repairs. I won’t be touching Deskmate with a ten foot pole.
Every journey begins with a first step, you’ve started and are already ahead of most people. Good luck.
Welcome to my Channel. Here you find Videos from Aibos which I repaired and customized ;-) You also find tutorials for disassembling Aibos and parts of Aibos If you're interested about my work please visit my website, thanks.
