How to make use of remote control feature when we are away from home and still watch our kids?

I think it’s possible to do this now. I don’t use the app much but will see if I can get this to work. I’ve read on our Facebook group that you can successfully use the remote monitoring feature while outside of Wifi range away from home.

But I think Loona has to be off the station, although I’m unsure if this matters or not. Sorry, I should know this!

Zira go to Assistant > Remote Control

Loona needs to be powered on and in standby mode or autonomous mode. Doesn’t work if Loona is on the charging station.

I’m unsure if it actually works while you are away from home.

Anyone has managed to make it work ? Keep seeing the same error and I know it's not possible cause I'm right infront of her using my mobile data to test it

Hi Juu

I got it to work. Trick is to connect your phone to the same Wifi as Loona then go into the Hello Loona app and use the Remote Control Control From Afar feature.

You can then leave Loona powered on and she will go into standby mode when you exit the app. Don’t exit using the arrow just close the app. You will be able to reconnect by opening the app a long distance later.

It worked for me outside my home’s Wifi range while I was over 600 meters away.
