r1 shipping to select countries only

I just tried to order the r1 from Australia only to find Rabbit are not yet offering it for sale to my country

Rabbit’s shipping policy states:

r1 is currently available for purchase in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, certain countries in the European Union (Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden), South Korea, and Japan. We will ship r1 devices only to mailing addresses in these countries/jurisdictions.

Attempting to pre-order Rabbit’s r1 AI companion only to find they are not yet shipping to...

Normally I would use a proxy to purchase but I have a feeling there may be a reason why Rabbit are choosing not to ship to Australia and as the r1 device deals with sensitive information relating to apps and requires access to overseas cloud computing it’s too much of a risk to purchase only to find it to be region locked.

Looks like I’ll have to be patient and wait for this tech along with the majority of the world.
