Moxie for an older audience possibly in the works

Embodied posted a poll on their Facebook page asking if people would like a “Moxie for adults”. This could consist of a software update that would run on the existing hardware or a completely new hardware concept and product.

Embodied also mention:

“What we are trying to accomplish with Moxie is super complicated. However, as we continue to build it will get better and one day (soon) it will just be phenomenal.

A version for adults will be very different. In some sense a lot less complex.

Also, we don’t want to just be another Alexa. Moxie needs to understand and respond to emotions, mood, preferences etc.”

Could this “pro” version be the Moxie for an older audience?

What's next: Moxie's creators are working on a "pro" version of the robot that could be used in schools, hospitals and other group settings.

Embodied just released a Moxie Pro version that retails at a slightly higher cost than a standard Moxie. The only difference it seems is the pro version can store more mentor profiles and may have some different content. They also say it can offer classroom support.
