Has anyone replaced the battery in the Loona pet robot? (1 Viewer)

My Loona’s battery no longer holds a charge. Does anyone know the exact battery type (voltage, capacity, connector) or if a compatible replacement is available?


If you’ve done the replacement, could you share your experience, photos, or a guide?

According to this video it’s impossible to find a compatible replacement battery for Loona at this time. The only way to source one is through Keyi Tech.

I could only find this Loona repair person, but as the above videos belong to them it seems it’s not possible to replace Loona’s batteries through unofficial channels at this time.

Personally I don’t encourage at home DIY battery replacements, they can be extremely dangerous. Try taking your Loona to a local makerspace or electronics repair technician to have it looked at by a qualified professional.

I haven’t used Loona for a couple of months, and now I can’t turn it on. I tried the battery unblocking procedures, but nothing works. The service center’s request of around €200 seems excessive to me. I’m very disappointed and frustrated.
