Hip problems are a huge worry for me since I don't have a backer # with Keyi. Good to know someone fixes them! I did good with her ears but I hear the hips are another story.

My right rear wheel magnet is damaged, both top ears are not sticking to the base, I am using some tape.
The right ear light is not working.

I would like to order a replaments of the parts

I am looking for someone that can repair my loona, his AI is working and responds well . He can move around but he cant lift his head or wheels for calibration or while rolling around. his head sensor does not respond to rubbing , his ears work ok?? is there any place i can send him to for repairs?
I bought him brand new from eBay and not amazon which has no warranty according to the manufacturer who are terrible with after sales.

hi there is there anybody in the forum that can repair my loona ? his upper body will not move and he cant lift his legs' he wheels around ok and the AI seems to work but he will not calibrate. I will send the loona to you and pay for all charges. Also the sensors on the top of his head does not respond to clapping?

These robot vendors do repairs, but not specifically for Loona.

This channel seems to offer a robot repair service.

Robert, found a Loona repair service in Turkey claiming to offer authorised parts replacement. Not sure if legit or not. I’d be wary of shipping robots to Turkey, they have ridiculous import fees and it could end up a nightmare.

The problem with Loona is the parts are all specialised and difficult if not impossible to source off the shelf making repairs impractical and near impossible. Any attempt to repair will probably exceed the initial cost of your Loona. The fact no unofficial repair service has emerged for Loona points to the difficulty of sourcing appropriate parts. Plus the fact that people buying at Loona’s price point aren’t interested in forking out for costly repairs.

If you are insistent on getting it repaired find a local makerspace. There you should find enthusiasts with knowledge of 3D printing, electronics and mechanics, who could help fix the issues by making the parts to replace whatever is broken. But with Loona once you fix something, another thing usually goes wrong. Not to mention fixing things with Loona is illogical when the initial problem is with the design.

Keyi Tech should offer a repair service, it’s simply ridiculous they don’t. If you must purchase Loona only buy new so you are eligible for replacement under warranty. Buying secondhand is only asking for trouble.

Anyway I’ve got Loona troubleshooting fatigue and can’t guarantee I’ll be responding to further requests about Loona issues.

Let me be very clear— I don’t endorse DIY home repairs or aftermarket repairs via unofficial sources for any robot, including Loona, in any capacity whatsoever.
