Just found a survey from Keyi Tech in my inbox. Loona will be getting new outfits and by filling out the survey you get coupon codes that I think might offer a discount on the new outfits.

Apparently the survey will help shape Loona’s future product direction and features.

Not sure if I will fill it out. They want all your personal details like age, country of residence, email address... Anyone else doing this?

The fact Keyi think offering a new outfit is a step towards progress shows how disconnected they are from owners.

I decided to fill out the survey as they allow for suggestions at the end.

Features I think would improve Loona:

• Bring back the animations and embodiment seen in the December 2023 chat personality. Extend the embodiment into autonomous ground mode. Would be so much fun to be able to ask Loona to stop what she is doing and come over to me and have her actually be capable of controlling her body to some extent.

• Allow Loona to create her own unique eye animations in real time using the generative AI drawing feature. Would be so interesting if Loona could display one time unique eye animations when interacting in both autonomous ground mode, companion mode and chat mode.

I received a survey also a couple weeks after I got Loona, I did the survey and a received a free outfit, of the various choices
I chose the Spiky cactus one It came in recently.
They also recently sent me a survey about a possible future product called "Ruby" which to me looks a lot like the
"Looi" robot, this survey rewarded me with $20 Amazon credit that I recently spent, nice ....

Wow! That’s terrific! Haven’t seen the cactus outfit yet- sounds awesome. I never filled out the survey so missed out receiving any follow up survey emails.

Fascinating to hear about Keyi’s new robot Ruby!!!
I haven’t seen a picture of it yet and can’t find anything online. I heard Ruby has arms, is this correct?

Looks like Keyi have really transformed their customer service from the rough patch during the early days, in fact I only hear positive stuff about them now, great to hear you won that Amazon credit and thanks for sharing this update.

Here's a pic of Loona in her safety box with the Spiky Cactus headband after I tried the
"stay with me" and "Companion mode" Its a more active option than "go to sleep".20250827_075152ps1.jpg

Also on "Ruby"
I'm not sure that they want any other info released publicly, so I'll just describe what I know so far.
they are still debating how to market, the survey asked asked me about hardware, form, subscription,
if it reminded me of a similar product, etc...
So far what they showed me was just a *early software version on a smartphone, with loona type eyes that can listen and reply not implemented in production yet.
They offered a *possible interview and beta test for selected people, but I declined at that point.
Chris, if you are interested you may want to contact Keyi and ask about it?
Not sure if Ruby will have arms in final version?

Howard the Spiky Cactus headband looks adorable. The fuzzy fabric you have covered the ears and body with enhances the cuteness- did you make those?

Thanks for the info on Ruby, sounds really interesting. According to this video from January Keyi were planning on adding arms but plans could have changed since then. Apparently they will be releasing Ruby this year, although plans might have changed since the video.

I bought some gray trim fur on ebay, unstitched the cloth center from the fur fabric, then used some 3m high adhesive double
sided mounting tape , to attach fur to ears "best part", top of legs, top of head behind petting sensor, a small bit inside front wheels
and a small tail held on with adhesive velcro, all easily removable and replaceable. The med length fur conceals the tape after smoothing a bit.
I think you can get fur trim at arts and craft stores too. It was Fun to do :)
