Thought of fixing mine the same way.Hello,
Yes, I experienced the same issue. After replacing the right leg motor, the calibration was off, and the right leg kept staying in the air. I opened it again and noticed that the plastic around the screws holding the sensor above the motor was cracked, causing the sensor to become loose. When I tried to tighten the screws a bit more, the plastic broke completely.
So, I had no choice but to glue the sensor back into its place using a small amount of super glue—just 1–2 drops, enough to hold the sensor. After waiting about 5–10 minutes for it to dry, I checked and saw that the sensor was firmly in place. I reassembled the parts, restarted the robot, and the right leg no longer stayed up. I then ran the calibration through the app, and everything started working perfectly again.
Note: The Loona parts are quite fragile — they break or get damaged very easily. So, you need to handle them very carefully during repairs.
Mine had a similar issue. But for me, it was the gears in the hip motor that seized up. I've since unplugged that motor. She still rolls around, but she flips over and I have to keep helping her. Reached out to Keyi and they just want me to send her in. Don't want to do that. The Facebook group I'm in suggested AliExpress motors. I just haven't had a chance to go through and find the right motor.
