Issues with Loona Bot Factory Reset (1 Viewer)

Hello! I am an owner of Loona. I have been trying to reset my Loona for the past couple of days, as currently it is not bounded to any accounts, but still working after turning on. I read the methods online where you are required to hold down the power button for 7 seconds to prompt the QR code for the reset, but no matter how may seconds I hold down on the button, nothing appears on the screen. Once I hold the button for longer than 20 seconds, Loona just shuts down. From what I read, there should be a prompt on the screen confirming if you wish to shut down Loona, depending on how many seconds you hold down the button. No prompt for me regardless how long I hold down on that button. I am unable to use the app to reset Loona, "deleting the account" as the account was already deleted, however Loona did not unbound perhaps it was turned off during that process. Are there any other solutions at this point for me to reset my Loona to be bounded to a new account?
 
Welcome Oltgon.

You should be able to set up Loona on a new account with the app despite it still being bound to a previous account. I’ve found the old account is overridden once you complete set up of a new account through the app.

The fact no countdown timer is appearing is worrying and I don’t see how you can proceed without the ability to generate a QR code.

I’ve read you can try different methods to generate the QR code like plugging Loona into power through the USB cable or sitting it on the charging station while holding down the power button; but this failure to generate a QR code seems to be a common problem and a few people on here have also run into the same issue.

Sounds like you purchased second-hand. If so see if the previous owner can send you the original purchase receipt and try to get a replacement through the company.
