Can't get Loona out of Low Battery Mode

I've followed the instructions, had loona charging, ears light up, but screen keeps flashing Loona instead of booting or showing charging. I hold button down for 12 seconds, and sometimes the screen shows 100% charged. But still won't boot. Retry 12 second hold again and screen and ears go dark. Still won't boot. Unplug and replug in, ears light up and screen flashes Loona again but nothing else.

It’s difficult to know if I’ve experienced this with mine, as I’ve had a lot of similar things happen; if you are able to upload a short video it might jog my memory. I’ve provided instructions on how to go about this below or feel free to link via X or YouTube.

My go to advice is always to hold down the power button while Loona is powered on either unplugged or plugged in for as long as possible until it reboots. Can take up to two minutes.

Thanks. I’ve never seen this before with a Loona that is unplugged and not charging.

Try holding down on the power button for two minutes to see if that does anything.

Did you update to the latest software version before this happened? I’ve heard of one person who had theirs bricked after installing the latest update.

In the vid, the loona is charging. That is the only way I get any response from it. If it is off charger, then no response at all from button press. And the original stuff I found was 10 seconds for override shutdown, but then I saw a KB that said 12 seconds... Very frustrating. The thing is brand new, just been off charger for a long time. Shouldn't be this hard to get it to power back up. Or there should be a factory reset that can be done.

Well something has changed. So if I plug it in for the first time, Loona pops up, ears light up, and then screen starts to blink Loona again for about 15 seconds, and then 100% battery screen shows and then everything goes blank. I press button again, screen shows battery status, ears light up, and then goes dark. 3 second presses show the battery screen and ears, but goes dark as soon as released. No further responses. Held down for 5, screen lit up with loona, got some click noises, but still stuck in booting activity...lasted for about a minute and then went dark. The whole time on charger.

Yes, I've created a support ticket already. And they have even responded. Doesn't seem like there is another option for me to try however. Might need to have it replaced.

Hopefully you can get a replacement. Can’t believe they are still shipping defective units this late in the game.
