Deep dive into the Rabbit R1

Tbh I would use R1 to replace my smartphone if it wasn't only for the voice only input. Wish we could get this software/OS to replace android or ios in a normal phone.
Social media is highly addictive and predatory, having a bot to check on it for me would be very usefull. And having a minimalist device that still can run my virtual wallet and read QR codes would be great. Just add bluetooth and spotify and I wouldn't ask for more.
Having it access apps on the background begs the question of battery life.
Personally I like the scroll and push buttons, the screen is so small that doing things with my finger in the middle would make it difficult to see what I'm doing. The option of having documents sent to my email is convenient too. For it to be automatized, saves me from dowloading a pdf and manually upload it to google docs.
Personally, I also like the size of the gadget. Very pocket-friendly for my woman-pocketed jeans lol.
Almost everything is a pro, but then it comes the voice input... Just why? I already have trouble making myself clear in a normal smartphone call when it's windy or too crowded, having an only-voice commanded communication device would be more than troublesome.
I get why it is voice comman though, add a text imput and it would be just a regular smartphone. It would be too obvious that it is a replacement for a phone. And if it gets popular, smartphone big companies would have a problem with that.
A shame, I've been looking for ways to minimize distractions from my phone and this OS would be ideal. Hope we can get it as a one time purchase to mod smartphones in the future)
