Samsung to release Ballie robot this year

Samsung just announced at this years CES in Las Vegas that it will be releasing a home companion AI robot called Ballie. Ballie as expected is spherical like a ball, and will come with the following features:

•Ballie can use its 1080p double lens projector to project images and stream content on walls.

•Ballie can automatically adjust the picture based on the wall distance and lighting conditions; while also having the ability to detect people’s posture and facial angle and adjust the optimal projection angle for you.

• Ballie can respond to voice commands spoken verbally or sent via text message.

•Ballie has the ability to map rooms using its front and back facing cameras.

• Ballie’s AI is said to be capable of predicting users living patterns.

•Ballie can connect with smart home devices.
