How dystopian is this. Imagine if those lab grown brains ever developed enough to become conscious. Something terribly sad about the thought of a conscious human being developing without ever having a family or human connections, or even a body.
Plus how unethical to use human brains to do this. It’s probably good for science, but we all know eventually the temptation to let one of these brain organoids mature and become conscious will be too much.
