Agree. It seems the Chinese are good at innovating around trends that will be popular with consumers and can see them leading in the soft robot trend. After owning Ropet I don’t see myself ever preferring a plastic robot over a plush one. I think creating robots that mimic traditional fur covered pets is what will lead to mass adoption and is the future direction companion robots will head in.
