Fascinating presentation on Clone Robotics, covering the development of Clone’s artificial muscles, Myofiber, along with an in-depth look at Clone’s hardware and AI infrastructure.

Unlike all other humanoid robots currently in development, Clone is the only robot using motorless technology that mimics human muscles; giving it many advantages over traditional motor driven robots. Clone has over 200 degrees of freedom while its competitors have between 30-60.

Interestingly Clone Robotics CEO Dhanush Radhakrishnan envisions Clone as “the ideal human companion.” Clone is seen as an “Android Companion” transforming lives in the future by being attached to you and integrated into your daily routine, just as your smartphone is today.

There will be two Clone product lines. The current one without a face we see today, and a future robot with a hyper realistic face.
