Neo can charge all on its own with the included Neo charger. Neo’s hands are waterproof. Neo is autonomous and can perform general household chores like tidying, serving drinks, getting the door, laundry, emptying the dishwasher, watering plants and putting away dishes according to 1X’s website.

This preorder price is probably being sold at near the cost of production, if not at a loss. Pricing might change in future.
Wonder if the subscription could be transferred to rent-to-own once you have continued paying beyond a certain duration? If that was possible I’d definitely go for the subscription.
According to what I’m reading online Neo’s price represents great value for money and it’s possible the hands alone are probably worth 20k.
$20K does seem like a good price for a humanoid with that level of hardware.
However, you can't program it yourself and it's autonomy is very limited - most tasks on launch will actually be done by tele-operation.
