I found this supposedly AI humanoid robot at Selfridges London, and I was really happy when I discovered it. It was a relatively unknown Chinese robot. I bought it with genuine excitement.
The robot came with features like AI conversations, weather updates, smart reminders, storytelling, music playback, and dancing.
But after bringing it home, I discovered that it relied on an old and frustrating sound-wave setup method for connecting to the internet, and no matter how many times I tried, I could never fully get it working properly. In the end, the robot that once excited me so much quietly ended up in the storage room.
