Ropet Delivery Timeline Update
- The Ropet team have chosen 60 User Experience Ambassadors selected from hundreds of applications to help fine-tune Ropet through beta testing over the next few months.
- First batch of 50 Ropet units to be delivered to ambassadors for testing and feedback in April.
- Followed by a second batch of 100 units in May.
- Large-scale production of the consumer ready batch of remaining units will begin shipping in June to the majority of Kickstarter backers.
Found this video of Ropet from CES 2025 on YouTube. The Ropet representative mentions they are considering adding extra touch sensors in future- perhaps this is something that is currently being decided during the beta testing. Didn’t realise Ropet has the ability to turn towards the viewer and make eye contact until I saw this video.
