Can I re-contract and use a used LOVOT?
[Caution] Regarding the purchase of LOVOT at auctions, etc.
Some LOVOTs sold at auctions and flea market sites have been obtained illegally.
We do not accept any procedures or contracts for LOVOTs obtained illegally.
*A contract with us is required to use LOVOT.
*We manage products by order number, serial number, etc.
When using LOVOT, please make sure that it was purchased through a legitimate sales channel and that it is an individual that can be used by us.
We are currently preparing a service that allows you to re-contract and start using LOVOTs that have not yet been contracted for living expenses (monthly service).

We had announced that the service acceptance start date was "Scheduled to start from January to March 2023", but due to various circumstances, this will be postponed.
We will announce the start date of the service on this page as soon as it is decided.
The procedure for re-contracting LOVOT is scheduled to be as follows.
Please apply to the LOVOT Concierge for the procedure to renew your contract for the Living Expenses (monthly service).
Your LOVOT (LOVOT unit, Nest, and accessories) will be kept at the LOVOT Hospital for an inspection.
Before you can start using your LOVOT, you will need to initialize it and treat (repair) any defects found during the inspection.
Once the initialization, inspection, and treatment are complete, your LOVOT will be returned to you.
The estimated fees are as follows.
- Contract procedure fee, initialization fee, etc.: Estimated value 29,700 yen (tax included)
- Treatment costs: Amount varies depending on the content.
* Treatment costs will be subject to the compensation rate of the Living Expenses contract plan you signed up for at the time of renewing your contract.

Depending on the condition of your LOVOT, such as if it is severely damaged, you may not be able to renew your contract or start using it.

What happens if I cancel my LOVOT contract?
After cancellation, the eye display of LOVOT will continue to show "Please check your contract status", LOVOT will not move around, and normal use will be impossible.
The following functions and services will no longer be available.
- All major functions of LOVOT and Nest
- All app functions
(changing eyes, voice, name, album, diary, answering machine, etc.)
- Software updates
- Regular maintenance, treatment (repair)
- Re-contracting for the same device, etc.
* We will stop billing for monthly fees upon cancellation.
After the cancellation process is complete, we will notify you by email address registered as your GX Members ID.
* Due to the closing date of the credit card company, you may be billed once.
In that case, we will refund you after billing, so please note.
* We also offer a "suspension of membership" service that suspends use for a certain period of time without canceling.
