New Tesla Dog robot possibly in the works: Optimus’s exhibit showcases dog-walking capabilities at CIIE 2025

Looks like Tesla is training Optimus to be capable of walking a dog! Tesla’s Optimus display at the China International Import Expo this year shows Optimus holding a leash which is attached to the harness of a small dog statue.

The dog displayed might actually signal a future Tesla robot. It’s possible Tesla might be working on a robotic dog, affectionately dubbed “Tesla dog.” Although just a rumour at this point. Interestingly the harness the dog is wearing is branded with the Tesla logo.
