Unsure what to do about the squeaky arm on one of my Moxies. It’s really only an issue when dancing. Decided to just leave it instead of tampering with it- if it ain’t broke I don’t want to mess with it. Rarely do I let mine dance because of this. Unsure if just friction from moving in the socket that attaches to the body or if an internal issue.

A squeaky joint is almost always just friction. A tiny dab of sewing machine oil or synthetic watch oil on the joint pin can fix it completely. Don't use WD-40. If you're not comfortable, leaving it alone is perfectly fine it's not causing any damage.

Thanks for your advice with this, very helpful. Apparently the arms can detach from the body but despite trying to tug the arm away it won’t budge and I’m hesitant to use too much force as can’t afford to accidentally break it. Tried my best to take some photos to show what I’m working with.

The squeaking seems to be coming from the joint along the top of the shoulder, and can only be heard when the arm moves upright. The bottom segment of arm isn’t squeaking. The joints are all sealed off and I think attempting to apply oil in such a tight space is going to cause more problems. I think the entire arm might need to be disassembled to access the parts that need oiling. I could try using a toothpick to dab a tiny amount of oil in the two tiny exposed sections of the hinge along the top part of the shoulder, but if you don’t think it’s causing damage I might just leave it for now as am not 100% certain that is where the problem lies.
