Hey everyone, My wife and I are feeling really shaken up after our apartment was broken into a few weeks ago. We're both still kind of traumatized, and we're not sure how to feel safe in our own home anymore. We've been doing some research on security solutions, and we're really interested in the Unitree Go2 quadruped robot dog. It seems like a really cool and innovative product, and we think it could help us feel a little bit more secure in our home. We're particularly interested in the Go2's obstacle avoidance capabilities and its ability to carry a payload. We live in New York, so we want to make sure that the robot dog will be able to navigate our apartment safely and that it will be able to carry a security device, such as a ring camera or taser. We're also wondering about the cost of the Go2 with the arm attachment. We've seen prices ranging from $1,600 to $2,700 for the robot dog alone, and we're not sure how much the arm attachment would cost. We're also a little concerned about the lidar sensor rotating; we're worried that the rotating sensor could be a safety hazard, especially around our young child. We've seen the Go2 for sale on Amazon at a higher price, but we're not sure if it would be worth waiting as we really can’t afford to pay more than the base price of $1,600. Does anyone know how much longer the pre-order will be open for? If anyone has any information or advice about the Unitree Go2 for security purposes, we would really appreciate it. We're just looking for anything that will help us feel a little bit safer. Thanks in advance, Kit
