Robie is currently still in the R&D phase and the company “plan to launch it next year” according to comments on their official Instagram account, post linked below.
*Update* InsBotics just released this teaser showcasing Robie’s abilities ahead of CES 2026. What we know so far:
Robie robot Price estimate: Between 2000-3000 CNY (Chinese Yuan) or about US$300- US$450 according to rumours.
Robie’s Release date estimate: March-May 2026 (possibly on Kickstarter).
Robie robot Hardware features:
•Six degrees of freedom, moveable torso, arms and ears. Frontal light that can change colour to show mood. Can spin 360 degrees.
•Touch sensors: back, sides, head and forehead.
Robie’s AI Features:
•Vision and language AI integrated allowing it to recognise the environment around it and work that information into the conversation for more personalised interactions.
•Features AI-driven eye contact.
