Hengbot Sirius dog

I just saw this on Kickstarter.

Looks interesting but will it be around in a year or two. Also, early reports say that it falls a lot and no self charging. If the company keeps up with updates to programming and functionality, that would be a step in the right direction but I am concerned with new companies on Kickstarter.

Just too many dog robots, so not for me.

Couldn’t agree more. Looks promising but how many robot dogs does one need? If it had something unique or the software was more developed enabling it to move around and charge autonomously it might be a compelling robot.

The modern hardware design has so much potential. Will have to sit this one out and wait for reviews.
