GrooveX CEO Kaname Hayashi had a few lighthearted words regarding the appearance of many Lovot lookalikes at CES this year:
“Regarding the fact that many robots similar to LOVOT have been appearing at events like CES. Mr. Hayashi: "In a world where LOVOT was the only one until now, the emergence of followers is something that's been anticipated, and it can be seen in a positive light as 'there's something here'... but... on the not-so-positive side... lol... it was pretty tough for us to get this far too, so when it comes to the way they market it or the features they've implemented, looking at our site... it's like... they seem similar... I do wish they'd differentiate a bit more... lol"
