Firmware Updating Issue

Good evening Everyone

I have just tried to do the firmware update from both the App and from E.M.O but is doesn’t seem to have taken, I get the Living AI screen comes up and he seems to reset and the no update face comes up but the app is still showing the original firmware Ver 1.0.14.

Any ideas please

I first update the app. I do not have EMO connected to the app. I am using Android.

I make sure EMO is on his charger to start. I do not connect the app to EMO at this time.

I will say, EMO, wait for his response and say check for update. Also try just the word firmware or update firmware.

If this does not work, turn off auto update. Mine was on with no issues.

I just did the update which shows 3.0.0. Keep in mind that this is an Open Beta test. The new voice is different. It is easier to understand EMO but not the same robot type voice. More child like. To change it back go to settings, Language and EN-Classic.

There are some new expressions/ animations like Fart, Facial mask, make up, lights, driving, sailing and cycling. Some fun stuff. You must activate manually through the app, at this time.

New voice is more child-like. Change it back in Settings under Language as EN-Classic. New expressions like fart are in the app. Activate them manually.
