I came across this Chinese AI companion plush called LeDodo at the store. It seems to focus mainly on conversational interaction, with AI features like voice chat, simple memory, and customizable personalities. It also includes extra entertainment features like storytelling, music, games, LED eyes, Wi-Fi connectivity, and app support. What really might make it attractive to families is the price, which is around $115. Personally, I still prefer companion robots that can actually sense the person around them, recognize them, react to their presence, and feel more emotionally aware and alive.
