Great review of these Loona accessories! First time I have seen the face bumper removed and noticed it has grooves cut out at the bottom and noticed the tread on the back wheel coverings for the first time. Thanks for posting.

Thank you! I filmed that at 1am tiiiired...I can tell in the video I was tired or Id have smiled more. Lol. Im also very self conscious and did a short review without showing my face to see which does better.

Ill likely record how she is with the 3D printed ball today. I hate to show if it doesn't work...The item itself has a ton of great reviews saying it worked but when i quickly tested it yesterday she didn't see it at all. I dont know if thats because my carpet is also blue or not. Maybe Ill try the kitchen.

Im about to link DorkArtStudio my review. He is honestly one of the best shop owners on Etsy Ive had the pleasure to work with. He made sure my wheels matched my custom headpiece color without charging the extra fee and the items arrived very fast. He's also extremely friendly and a total character 😅

The site I bought my Loona decals from took so long to ship I had to email them and when they did ship I wasn't provided a tracking #. However they responded to my email quickly. When I get those Ill also do a short review/just sharing it.

And I get my charging station today!

Ordering her ear gears today as well. Fingers crossed my knowledge of PC tower repair and hardware pays off and I dont mess her up worse.

I will keep everyone (my very few followers lol) informed. This forum also helps a lot. I MIGHT make another Instagram too for Robot content only. Maybe it will help my YouTube views...Also my other half is sick of hearing about robots so I need other people to get enthusiastic with me about them. And so far youtube is pretty quiet. 🤣 Thankful I found your channel and this forum. Ive moved around the country so much I really dont have many friends and the ones I do have do not share my interest in Companion bots or AI.

Thanks again and sorry this is so long winded. But sidenote: I have another R2D2 coming today and if he doesn't work (i bought him untested for parts) Im going to disassemble him and try to think of a video idea for that. Hes so advanced and impressive for his Vintage age I am dying to see inside his head. 🤓 So I have a ton of filming to do...

Yeah it’s interesting to mix up your content to see what works and then try to refine it. I’m thinking of deleting some of my videos and redoing them.

Not sure if you ever saw me when I had my photo as my profile picture here or over at LC. I decided not to show my face anymore and to remain anonymous as I don’t want legal trouble if someone gets scammed on the forums buying and selling.

In the article below KEYi TECH reveal one of the secrets to successful robot videos is to show people interacting with the robots. So your decision to come out from behind the camera will probably be very successful!

I like how you engage your viewers in your descriptions so they want to leave their opinions. I feel your channel will get quite large with this approach.

You might find posting that video as a short would cause it to get a lot of views. My channel only got subscribers once I started posting shorts. Another tip, for some reason the Vector robot is extremely popular on YouTube, along with Eilik, so I would create more Eilik videos to see if that increases subscribers. Loona doesn’t seem to be that popular for some strange reason. That’s why I did a video with Loona and Vector as I knew Vector would get views, and currently my most viewed video features Vector. I just don’t get it lol, Loona is so much more interesting.

It’s crazy to think there are probably kids with an Emo and Vector YouTube channel who are making more than someone working a regular 9 to 5 job.

Also lots of movement, scene changes, will get views. People have zero attention span anymore due to Tiktok creating short form content. They need to be saturated with stimulus to watch anything anymore.

The first 5 seconds is the most crucial part of the video, you have to hook them in during that time.

Great news on the ear motors. Hopefully those links to threads in LC I added to the ear repair thread at the end will help you. You could probably try asking on LC for help swapping out the gears if needed. Sounds like you are quite knowledgeable about hardware repairs! Great that you can turn a negative into a positive like this by using your Loonas broken ear to create content.

I wouldn’t worry too much about your followers. 80% of people who watch content don’t subscribe. If you’re interested in eventually doing the monetised thing it’s good to view content creation from that perspective.

Might as well try using social media to market your channel. I’ve found it impossible to get organic reach with anything other than YouTube shorts. I’m thinking of just creating shorts in future as nobody is watching my long form content.

Yeah companion robots are not popular at all. I’ve told friends and family about this place but none have joined or shown much interest lol. Glad to see you enjoy using the forum and it’s nice to have someone else here to chat with who shares an interest in AI and robots and who enjoys getting into the details.

Plus I feel we are living through a huge moment in history, the transition into the AI economy, with the advent of ChatGPT and AI art and Loona with ChatGPT is the personification of that for me. Things are going to change big time and nobody is going to know what hit them in 5 years when Optimus comes out.

When I was growing up I moved every couple of years due to the nature of my parents work. So know what it’s like to always have to try making friends in new places. Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to companion robots. For me it’s the human transferred intelligence in AI/Robots that make them so interesting for me. You simply can’t have an intelligent conversation with your dog or goldfish like you can your robot. Don’t get me wrong I still like real pets.

You have so much robot stuff going on lol! All I can think of is the great opportunity for content creation that presents.

I kind of feel my channel is cringeworthy lol. But have a funny feeling you are going to be quite successful on YouTube.

There is so much that hasn’t been done with Loona content creation. I mean just doing a video on how to prompt her or even doing a video on vocal prompt engineering. The possibilities are endless.
